HAPPY THANKSGIVING!! 🦃
Hope you are having a very blessed Thanksgiving day! I'm so thankful for the blessings God has given me, for my husband, my family and my health! The pictures shown are how I am able to keep to my dietary restrictions and still enjoy all the foods of Thanksgiving....desserts included. 😊Â

Apple fritter loaf and pecan pie are made with gluten free flours, dairy free substitutes and substituted sugar. I used date sugar and Swerve brown sugar and depending on the recipe, I don't use all the recommended sugar either.
Homemade cranberry sauce is simply made with one bag of cranberries and between 1/4 - 1/2 cup of date sugar.
Gluten free stuffing and gravy is made with a normal recipe. The only changes are: I use homemade gluten free bread and vegetable stock. I'm not a big gravy eater but enjoy it on special days like these. So, IÂ learned a simple way for me to still enjoy it while sticking to my dietary restrictions. I make a rou with vegetable stock, a cornstarch/almond milk mixture and some onion powder and cook til thick.Â
