Welcome to Healthy Lifestyle Coaching with Lindsey!

Your road to better health begins here! A healthy lifestyle is highly significant to our overall health; what we do to our bodies and what we feed it effects our overall health in both the short and long-term.

As a certified Holistic Nutritionist, I understand the weight and frustration of feeling like there are options out there, but not knowing where to turn to first. That’s why my mission is simple: to help women build long-term healthy habits/behaviors that will cause lasting changes for their lifetime, and to guide women and walk alongside them every step of their journey to better health. I focus on giving my clients the education, tools and resources needed to use food as medicine and feel happy, healthy, and capable of managing their own healthy lifestyle.

I formed HLC with Lindsey out of my passion for nutrition and living a healthy lifestyle, that is just that...a lifestyle. I'm passionate about helping women of all ages feel their best and use food as medicine to help prevent and reverse disease. My passion for health and wellness increased when I was diagnosed in 2019 with Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome (PCOS). For 15 years I dealt with so many unpleasant symptoms without knowing why. After finding out there was no cure, I spent many months researching how to best manage it. The most common way to manage it is through "lifelong" medication; but I wanted a better way that was void of even more symptoms from side affects. So, I spent many more months doing research on using food as medicine and about 3 years later, I was able to naturally manage it well through the right nutrition and exercise for me (check out my blog post for more on my story). Now I want to be able to help other women achieve the same results in their specific health needs as I did. 
Coaching sessions are available online virtually or in-person for those in and around Angola, IN.

Initial Consultation 

Not everyone has the same needs. In fact, it’s hard to find two people who benefit from the exact same approach to health! Let’s get to know each other and together we’ll build out your personalized wellness plan. Can be virtual or in-person(depending on location) and is always FREE!

Health Coaching Sessions

I believe in no cookie cutter plans but tailoring sessions to each women's specific health goals and needs. Each session is 45-60 minutes in length and works on building knowledge, goal setting, developing a plan and executing that plan. Sessions can also include a Biblical aspect and can be online or in-person(depending on your location). Sessions are scheduled for returning clients at the end of each session.

Before I came to Lindsey I was struggling with meal prep and planning. I would attempt for a few days and then fall off the path and ultimately give upI would often get bored with the choices I would make and quickly fall into old snacking habits.

Lindsey is very kind and non-judgmental and genuinely wants to help people become the healthiest versions of themselves. She has helped me have more energy and be a happier, healthier mom, dance teacher and friend!

Before I started meeting with Lindsey, I was Really frustrated and overwhelmed with trying to nail down how to live with an elimination diet due to chronic health issues. I desperately needed someone to come alongside me and help me see that “elimination” didn’t have to mean boring or limited. But, first I needed Lindsey’s help to identify what food items were hiding ingredients that were making me miserable. 
Lindsey helped me by taking the time to do the research for me on what I should and should not be eating. This totally took the weight and stress off my shoulders and gave me renewed hope that food could be a friend instead of an enemy. Before I started meeting with Lindsey, I had been quite sick for several months, I had lost about 20 pounds. Just walking up the stairs with a basket of laundry left me very short of breath and exhausted.
Now I can say that, thanks to her guidance, I have been eating better, sleeping better, my energy is returning, and my blood sugars have been more stable. I’m no longer losing weight, but maintaining. 
It’s such a blessing to have the energy to do things I love, again. I don’t take things, like walking my dog, for granted anymore.
